HOUSING COUNSELING SERVICE
Since 1998, homeWORD has helped over 300 families through the Foreclosure Prevention Counseling Program.

In partnership with NeighborWorks Great Falls and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, homeWORD is a certified Counseling Agency providing a comprehensive range of services including one-on-one housing search counseling and in-depth, day-by-day counseling to families who are at risk of losing their homes to foreclosure. Financial literacy education, explanation of foreclosure prevention options, direct advocacy and negotiation with lenders on behalf of clients, predatory lending assistance, and referrals to other applicable resources and social services are all part of the services included.

You will need to read, complete and sign all forms in the application packet, as well as gather the required documents in order to schedule a counseling appointment.
