Consistently 1 in 3 Get Ready for Homeownership participants
have successfully purchased a home since completing the class.
Get
Ready for Homeownership Since 1994, homeWORD
has offered homeownership classes and now serves over 200
individuals and families every year in Missoula and Billings.
The Homeownership Center provides a friendly,
walk-in space where individuals will find homeownership materials,
resources for services offered throughout the community, knowledgeable
staff, and monthly homebuyer classes all designed to help low
to moderate income individuals and families purchase and retain
their
first home.
MISSOULA HOMEBUYER CLASS
SCHEDULE
Must be pre-registered to attend
A nationally certified 11-hour class
which provides individuals and families comprehensive information covering the
basics of the home buying process. Call 532-4663 x23 for
a
registration form or watch as dates open below for online
registration. Online registration
begins roughly one month before
each
class start date. There is a $10/person non-refundable registration fee
to
cover
the
cost
of
materials. Please mail the class fee, Att: Katherine Sherba,
after registering and prior
to
attending
the class to reserve your place.
- Please bring the amount of
your total gross annual income for all earners in the household
- Please bring the amount of
minimum monthly debt payments - credit card debt, loans, etc.
- Childcare for this class can
be arranged if requested in advance.

9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 202 Brooks Street- St. Paul's
Lutheran Church- and Monday July 20th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at
homeWORD.

Class will be
held at 300 E. Main St. -First United Methodist Church.

BILLINGS HOMEBUYER
CLASS SCHEDULE
Must be pre-registered
to attend
This 9-hour homebuyer education
workshop is offered in conjunction with City of Billings and provides individuals
with
interactive education and information about the steps to home-ownership. Call
255-0298 for a registration form. There
is a $10 registration fee to cover the cost of materials. Please
mail or drop off class fee along with your registration form.
