Homeword Executive Director Andrea Davis has a brief update for you from an exciting location!

Leasing Begins at Trinity Properties

Maple Street Flats

Alongside partners Missoula Housing Authority and BlueLine Development, we broke ground on the 202-home Trinity Apartments and Navigation Center the summer of 2021. All the hard work is finally coming to fruition, with leasing beginning and new residents moving in.

Although exterior work such as paving and landscaping will continue into the spring, local workers and families have settled into a total of nine homes at Westside Place, the first building of the Trinity Apartments to be completed.

With the rising cost of living and spikes in houselessness affecting the Missoula community, these homes people can afford are more critical than ever.

Missoula Housing Authority is now accepting applications for two- and three-bedroom apartment homes at Westside Place. Anyone interested in one- or four-bedrooms homes can fill out the leasing interest list at this time, and a leasing expert will reach out when it’s time to submit an application.

Meet Our New Asset Coordinator

Reginald Mitchell

We're pleased to share that Reginald Mitchell has joined Homeword as our new asset coordinator. He is the latest addition to our team, joining us in December 2022.

Reggie was born in Hawaii and was raised for the majority of his life in Alabama. He lived in a very small, rural town where he spent most of his time playing in the woods, participating in sports and playing music with good friends. Reggie traveled around the country for two years before deciding to call Missoula home.

Prior to joining Homeword, Reggie worked for Tamarack Property Management for seven years. Most recently Reggie worked as special operations manager. In that position he was responsible for tenant relations, coordinating vendors and contracts for preventative maintenance and overseeing projects and inspections.

Reggie's knowledge of our property portfolio through his work at Tamarack Property Management over the years is a solid advantage to us as our asset management team expands.

"I'm excited to continue to learn and grow my communication and people skills while working with an amazing team I've known for years," said Reggie.
